I am a seventh grade teacher at Somerset Valley Middle School in Hartland, Maine. I have been the director of the middle school show chous for 15 years and co-directed at the high school level for 11 years. I am also the director of drama for the school.

i liked it when taylor said that the cameras cost 3,000 dollers then joy said your life cost more the any a mount of money that was hard to rebut.
I think Taylor made a good point about not having school security when he said that because not all guns are metal, some are plastic and won't set off a metal dtector. I also think he made a good point when he said that if you have cameras that look inside your pockets they could might look further.
I think that joey made a good rebuttal about your life is wroth more then a camrea when taylor said cameras are like 3,000 dollars.

I think that Emily T and Katherine b made a good point on you shouldn't have school Uniforms, because they made a point on saying that kids should have the right to express their selfs. They shouldn't have to wear the same cloths as other people.
I think that taylor made a good point that it would ruin peoples privecy if they had camras that could look into peoples pockets because they could see a little more then inside pockets.
My point is that they don't just make camras for looking into peoples pockets. i think it would just easyer to let people search you then looking at you in secret.
Caleb L. Had a good point that homework takes a long time and it leads to obesity.
Joey had a good idea about metal detectors in the school because they whont bring wepons to school.
I think that taylor made a good point with against school security because he said that kids could get a hold of the type of gun thats plastic which can slide through the metal detectors.
I think that emily made a okay point when she said that people should have no school uniforms but peircings and other things like that it can cause gangs and stuff like that but thats not true because i have 6 percings and have 100 jelly braclets and i'm not part of a gang so wheres the piont in that.
I liked that taylor brought up that some guns are plastic and that it wouldn't set off the metaldetor.And that there are no camreas in the bathroom because it would be violating privecy. and that they can make bombs out of stuff in the school.

Well sabrina It didnt mean that your in a gang but it does mean that people who cant express themselves could start expessing themselves in ways that are not good like cutting themselves or something like a gang called the (cutters in a book)If they have school uniforms.
Sabrina--I don't think she was saying that all kids who have piercings and wear jewlery are part of a gang--I think she was saying that many times gangs use clothes to identify themselves and if they did not have that option because they had to wear uniforms, they would find different means to identify their gang like piercings and jewerly.
well i think taylor had a good point about the plastic gun and when joey said your life is more then your life
Tiffany my rebuttal is yes kids cant express them slevs in there clothes but they can express them slevs with the things they do or there hair or there personalty.
Tiffany--my rebuttal---I disagree--Kids can find even better ways to express their individuality--Especially by the activities in which they participate--I am a singer/actress and that makes me very much an individual.
I think that taylor made a good point when he said that to avoid a meatal dectector but still bring waepons into school is you could make a bomb out of plastic household materials

somethig that i saw in the news is in milinocket kids are throwing pumpkins at cars and they are slashing tires and an 18 year old got taken in for questioning.
I found out that a couple of fire man died I think in a chrash.
There was a road side blast in Afhganistan that killed 14 peope.
I saw barbra Marril on t.v saying that she would keep our coutry clean so vote for her for state repersentive.
something that i saw on a commercial is governor woodcock was saying that baldacci is poluting our lakes and rivers and streams and saying bad stuff about him and not to vote for baldacci and vote for governor woodcock.
I think that the yappy dog,bag of leaves, and frozen peas chemercals were creative.
