What do you know about the Middle Ages-Nichols

The Middle Ages is a fascinating time period. It is often associated with knights and castles. What else do you know about Medieval times?

There are lots of "sayings" that orginated in the middle ages--"saved by the bell" and "the grave yard shift."--I will tell you about them during our unit!!! I can't wait--be ready to take some risks---Mrs.Neal

wasn'tt it when people were middled aged. Wait no they did have and power so they couldn't talk on the phone, go on the computer and stuff like that. -Haley

Why are you supposed to shake hands with people with your right hand? Because in the middle ages, they didn't have toilet paper and they didn't wanna use leaves, so they used their left hands to wipe their butts. and thats why you use your right hand for almost evrything.

the middle ages are like when there were castles and knights, and their was like and shakespere did a lot of books frim the middle ages. O and it was a really really really long time ago!!! tee hee

That is an interesting senerio Tyler but really the reason is because warriors always used their right hands to hold their weapon and when they would shake a person's hand they would have to put it down which was a symbol of peace.

Their life was a lot harder, they strugled to servive and were very poor. I'am interested in Shakespear and his plays and I know some of them.
